Disney Songs I Would Assign Zodiac Signs

I find astrology so fascinating, and after reading this article, I think you will too. Or you’ll be upset that you didn’t get your favorite Disney song. Either way, I hope you find this entertaining.

Almost There x Capricorn

I mean this with so much love, Capricorns are overachieving go-getters who love building empires. They see life as a challenge full of ways to level-up different stats, almost like a video game.

If you haven’t seen “The Princess and the Frog,” Tiana is a fierce and stubborn woman who has big dreams and is willing to work for them. She is the embodiment of a Capricorn and her song “Almost There” perfectly captures a Capricorn's stubbornness to never give up because their goals are worth more than the sacrifices they’ll have to make.

How Far I’ll Go x Aquarius

Aquarius are known for their quirky personalities and innovation. Because of this, they dare to dream outside of the box and go against the norm to make new discoveries. Despite their more straight-forward, logical brain, they have an artistic and deep way of thinking that sometimes overrules their logic because they’ll choose to follow their heart. Like Moana, they are change-makers who aren’t afraid to follow the tug in their heart to see just how far they can go while creating a healthy amount of chaos along the way.

When Will My Life Begin x Pisces

Pisces are incredibly deep-feeling individuals who have a galaxy of thoughts and ideas swirling around in their heads. They always have their heads in the clouds, dreaming up beautiful art projects and ideal worlds. Not only do they feel the positive, beautiful emotions of being human on the extreme, they feel the negative ones just as deeply. They’re likely to have more existential crises than other signs, but they make it artsy. They tend to find inspiration from these extreme emotions.

Because of this, Rapunzel singing “When Will My Life Begin” is the perfect embodiment of a Pisces. Rapunzel highlights the simple things of life like painting and cleaning and reading but she makes it all sound dreamy while also going through a dilemma of wanting more from life.

I Just Can’t Wait to Be King x Aries

I know what you’re all thinking; isn’t this Leo? No. No, it’s not. And I’ll tell you why. Leos are good at appearing confident but they actually care less about ruling anything or building empires and more about connecting with people. Aries, however, has an ambitious mentality and a feisty nature to back it up. They dream of being a CEO and they’re good at leading because they are decisive on what they want and willing to do something about it.

Colors of the Wind x Taurus

Taurus are unafraid to call people out on their B.S., but they have a classy way about them that really makes you think about your own actions. They have an artistic vibe to them and appreciate aesthetics. Despite their ethereal and, at times, friendly appearance, Taurus are not a sign to mess with because they will put you in your place and they don’t like disrespect, whether towards themselves or others.

Pocahontas calls out John Smith for his people’s mistreatment and blatant disrespect towards her people and their culture. But, she does it beautifully because the whole song is so artistic and magical.

Surface Pressure x Gemini

This may not make sense at first, but when you look at famous Gemini, there’s a lot of names like Marilyn Monroe and Natalie Portman who society tends to put a lot of pressure on to do well. They’re artists who we expect to do a good job no matter what role they’re given. Geminis also tend to be a sign that puts a lot of pressure on themselves to fulfill expectations, whether from external sources or placed upon them by themselves. They tend to handle the pressure well from the outside but internally, they feel a lot of negative side effects from the stress. They take any criticism right to the heart but they hide how they feel from others.

You’ve Got a Friend in Me x Cancer

Cancer’s have such big hearts and can’t help but be kind to pretty much everyone. They may not like everyone, and they definitely have their favorite people and can even be introverts, but they will always have a seat open for strangers at their table. They hate seeing people get left out or hurt.

All I Want x Leo

Despite what people think about Libras, Leos are actually some of the biggest hopeless romantics I know. On top of that, they’re also heartbreakers. They love love, they love being in love, they love the idea of it. But, they also overthink love and tend to sabotage anything they do build with someone until they’re ready to let go of unhealthy habits.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “All I Want” really encapsulates the inner turmoil that goes through Leos when discussing their love lives and the way they psychoanalyze their own selves in order to better understand themselves.

Go the Distance x Virgo

Like Capricorns, Virgos are go-getters but they also tend to seek the approval of others when doing so. Capricorns have a natural ability to accumulate wealth and build business from the ground–up and it’s fun for them. Virgos are perfectionists so they always have this inner pull to achieve more and dream more and it almost anguishes them to try and fulfill that.

Reflection x Libra

Because Libras blend so well with people by mirroring them, they sometimes have a hard time truly seeing themselves for who they are and it’s only when they’re alone and able to reflect that they drop all their walls. Despite this, they crave to have people see the real them for their whole truth but fear not being accepted for their truth. They feel a lot of pressure to be a certain way to keep the peace and it causes a lot of inner turmoil.

Into the Unknown x Scorpio

Scorpios have a mystic vibe and despite how quiet or reserved they can appear to be, they are secretly not afraid to take leaps of faith. Even if they do have some anxieties about it, life usually figures out a way to push them into greatness. They also tend to be more sensitive or psychic and “Into the Unknown” really captures the type of magic that feels more fairy than Disney. Scorpios are really in-tune with the world around them and people’s energies which makes it easier for them to make decisions and feel okay taking those risky steps into the unknown because they can almost feel if it’s a good idea or not.

Dig a Little Deeper x Sagittarius

This song is about caring more about being true to yourself while appreciating life and less about materialistic and surface-level things. I find Sagittarius to be unapologetically themselves even if people find them weird, they genuinely have an ‘idgaf’ attitude and it’s refreshing. Because of their authenticity, they tend to inspire those around them to be their true selves.
